Author's note: So, recently I was inspired by this story on WebNovel which many of you might have read (called "Cultivation Online"). The idea of combining LitRPG and VR with Xianxia appealed to me and immediately piqued my interest. Unfortunately, while popular and successful, I cannot say that I liked how the author chose to tell their story.
