Instead of certain death, the denizens became drifters; enhanced beings robbed of their homes, forced to live a life they never dreamed about having. Their eyes opened to a world rife with perils and opportunities, forced to either grow or perish under the system's rules. An absolute subjugation; one where even Gods couldn't interfere against. Nobody was exempt from this rule... Except for one. Frail, however, became something else. An entity. A stranger in everyone's eyes—to everything—even to himself. His human desires, needs, and dreams, went mute, replaced by an overwhelming sense of emptiness. A vacant heart that gnawed for something... an abstract concept he couldn't realize with stunted thoughts alone. What was his purpose? Why was he... him? Would the Entity become the drifter's ally? Or perhaps, their worst adversary?
