Not being able to understand the senses of literal stone and air, definitely wasn't helpful. Note that this isn't the typical dungeon core story. The way dungeons work, and how they interact with the people around them is unique. There are no system screens or stats that allow something to happen because "magic". Instead there's magic with a few simple rules, more science than anything really, which allow those with the know-how and imagination to accomplish great things.
