The Lucky Cat Dungeon

Ever since I was shoved into this dungeon by that divine feathery jerk, I've been assaulted by rats almost daily. I must have skipped the tutorial because this game menu keeps popping up whenever I want to do something and it keeps wanting me to spawn something called a 'scion'. Thing is, it might be rats today, but what about after I start upgrading things? Am I going to get attacked by dogs? Boars? Lions? People? Regardless, I don't feel like designing traps and monster encounters. I've always been a better game player than a game designer. Speaking of game design, this annoying game menu seems to include loot boxes of all things, but this gives me an idea. That shiny jerk who put me here wants to Pavlov me into playing his game? Those elves and dwarfs won't know what hit em! Besides this game seems to be pretty loose on what qualifies as an encounter.
