In my Defense: Turret Mage [LitRPG]

The System is dead. That doesn’t stop it from choosing us. Ryan Kotes, a nerdy teen from Proxis 3, sacrifices himself while attempting to save his family from a group of vicious reavers, but, at the moment of his death, he is chosen. The System, an all powerful cosmic machine meant to elevate humanity beyond the stars, plucks Ryan from his home and transports him to a custom tutorial meant to teach him the basics of his class. Unfortunately, the tutorial is in ruins, monsters want to wear him as a skinsuit, and Ryan’s class isn’t meant for combat. Oh, and why is a significant portion of his body made of metal? Join Ryan as he comes to grips with his new life, battles hordes of monsters, and turns his non-combat class into something to be feared.
