Everyone thinks he’s some hidden genius, but he knows the truth—it’s all the stupid systems fault! He didn’t sign up for this. He doesn’t care about immortality, grand daos, or face-slapping arrogant nobles. He just wants to go home. But with each quest dragging him deeper into this world’s power struggles, escape might not be as simple as he hoped. I would describe this story as a grimdark slowburn, the system is there and helps him gain power but it’s not something that is going to make him overpowered in 20 chapters. Ethan is going to struggle and claw his way through this new world until he reaches the pinnacle.
